Excited for you both.......looking forward to attending both celebrations...
Love the book. Looking forward to celebrating with you and Andrew. ❤️
I am so honored to be chosen as one of your Maid of Honors. As I read and came across my name and title, I felt overwhelmed with joy. My eyes watered with tears of happiness. I didn’t even continue to read what you wrote after. I instantly left my desk to call you.
Thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of y’all special day.

Andrew just loves the idea of going anywhere! So they wanted to take a different approach and make it fun for both of them. They would like to know from everyone which destination they should choose. Here is a photo teaser of both places on the beach front. They would love for you guys to take a minute and cast your vote!

Amy will always be my “baby” sister and my “only” sister. However, this girl right here has a heart of gold and will have your back to the end. There has never been a moment near or far that she has not been there for me. She is one of a kind, and I wouldn’t trade her for the world. Now, we both agree we can only be around each other three days tops before we want to kill each other, but that’s just sibling love. However, I would be her big sister and protector ‘til the end. I am not at all emotional, but little sis, I appreciate and love you. Thank you for being a part of our day. You just made it more special.
Elishiya, you are my only daughter and my truly spoiled Ms. Diva ‘til the end. Mommy loves you with all her heart, and I wouldn’t trade you for anything in this world. From the first moment I held you in my arms to watching you growing up to become a beautiful smart young lady and now a new mommy as well, I am very happy to have you be a part of my day and I couldn’t think about sharing this day without you. Thank you for being you and being a part of my special moment.
“Sunshine”! Who would have known the little girl I baby sat during family reunion, way back when, would one day end up being close to me in ways I could only imagine? There are many things we’ve shared and you’ve heard me vent about over the years. Then there’s the adventures we got into when I traveled to New York on a drop of a dime. You never said “no”, and you always came through when asked. I appreciate you and truthfully, you have been there through my challenges of balancing work and relationships. For me to always be on the go, you said one day I would find my match, and when that day came, you would be right there to celebrate. Well that day is here, and I appreciate you being here and celebrating this special day with us. Thank you for being there and can’t wait to toast on that day!
To my most fashionable cousin, who always knows the latest designers, and is always teaching me when I come around. I really appreciate you accepting my proposal and being a part of my special day. When we use to travel up to NY for summer travels, I always looked forward to you going through all your clothes, which still had the tags on them, and passing them down to me. I remember one skirt you gave me, it was brown with buttons down the front, I believe I wore that skirt out in school. You always made me a hit in high school, making sure I had the latest trends with the city flare. You were always the cool cousin to hang out with and most favorable when it came down to it. Till this day, I love coming over to your place to hangout. I love you and thank you again for being a part of our day!
Sheree, I remember all the times we’ve visited with each other in NY and NC. We always had something going on. Remember the time we were stopped by a guy at the corner store in NY? He was like he had seen us before and we thought he was a creep, but he really did know us. We took pictures together when we were little. The pictures were hanging up in grandmother’s apartment. We have been hanging that long, throughout the years we have had some good times. Years have passed but we have never skipped a beat. You have always welcomed family into your home with open arms. I love the hospitality you’ve shown when I come through NJ. Thank you for being a part of our day. I’m looking forward to the celebration.
“Ethel and Lucy” were our known names for our travel adventures. Crystal, being family is one thing, but being close is another thing. We have had some good times over the years, from riding with the top down on the convertible on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, cruising to Cherrelle’s “Saturday Love”, to enjoying a sunrise breakfast in Santa Barbara. We have ventured from the streets of Manhattan to the outskirts of Jersey. I enjoyed each adventure. We always said we would one day slow down and share our adventures with our better halves. We both agreed when that day came along, we would be there for each other. I am happy to be sharing this moment with you. Thank you for being a part of our special day. Love you always!
Donna, aka “Queen of knowledge”, you have always given me good advice on anything I had a question about. If I was on your mind at midnight, you would send me a text to say I love you and that you were thinking of me. We may have lived in different states, but when I came through Jersey, your doors were always open. Not only are you my cousin, but you have been a close person in my life and I appreciate you. Thank you for being a part of my day. I can’t wait to for you to celebrate this special day with me!
Nikki, you will always be my cousin “Jeep Top” and I will always be your cousin “Debo”. Years may go by but the memories will never fade. We shared a close year in high school together. I remember those times just like it was yesterday. I wouldn’t change those memories for anything in the world. I’m glad we’re finally having the West Coast rejoin the East Coast to continue making new memories. Thank you for being a part of our special day!
My little cousin is all grown up now with a family of her own. The apple doesn’t fall to far from the tree, a true “Diva”. Whenever I see you, you are all smiles. I came across a photo of you on my mom’s lap and you were smiling from ear to ear. Smiling is a natural born thing with you. I truly appreciate you being a part of our special day. Since we are in neighboring states, we will be making new memories together.
Tiffany, you are one of my younger cousins, but your importance does not fall to far from the tree. Your fashion trends and MUA moments have all inspired me. You have been riding with me for years. I know these days you are a very busy lady with either college or work related schedules. Either way, I appreciate you making time for me and accepting this request to be a part of our special day. Love you and I thank you for being there for me. Can’t wait to celebrate!
Kayecia, when I think of you I think about all the times I would visit and be in the kitchen when you cooked. My little cousin can cook like nobody’s business! You have grown to be a smart, lovely, young lady and I appreciate you. Thank you for being a part of our day!
To my niece, from the first day we laid eyes on each other, I swear you rolled your eyes at me. I always say you are my mini me in attitude, with a mixture of your mother’s ways. You are a lovely young lady with a kind heart. Over the years, I have watched you grow and mature very well. You love science and art, and it amazes me at times how talented you are. I recall a time visiting South Carolina when you had an art class exhibit, I was so happy just being there to see your work. Lauren, continue to be you and enjoy life. Thank you for being a part of our day!
You are a sweet and smart young lady. You are always smiling when I see you and you can light up a room. You are the granddaughter of my best friend and I am happy to have you share this moment with us. You will make an ADORABLE flower girl! Thanks Myla!
Mariah, my little princess that is so spoiled. Keep that positive spirit you have and share your love with others. I see a bright future ahead of you. Remember Uncle Drew loves you and thank you for being a part of our day!
My little princess that was always scared of me when you were a baby. When you came to see me after my back surgery, I saw the active side of you. Now you come around talking and even showing that pretty smile. Remember Uncle Drew loves you and thank you for being a part of our day!
Andrew & Nigel,
My heart and soul! Nobody will ever take the love I have for the both of you. I see you both growing into great men that will make me proud. Keep up the great work in sports and stay focused on your schoolwork. Love you guys more than words can explain.
My brother from another mother. Grew up hanging around each other every day we could. People still ask where the other one is if they don’t see us together. I’m proud of the man you have become. I love how you take care of your girls. When we get together, we always have a good story to talk about from our past together. The love we have for each other will never be replaced. I can talk to you about things I would never tell a soul. I will always respect and love you because you are my brother for life.
A great family man, I respect you for the person you are. You always kept it real with me and the same respect was always given back. When you first came down south, I remember you and this heat not getting along. You kept a white towel with you everywhere you went. When your body allowed you to, we played ball together and became closer. When I was young all I heard about was my big cousin, the next Michael Jordan. Being young and hearing your cousin can jump out the gym blew my mind. Still waiting to see it! Love you my brother.
First time meeting you was at my sister’s graduation. I was wondering who was this little knuckle head with my little sister, but on the real, thank you for keeping my sister happy and being the family man you are. The road may get rough, but keep fighting and everything will work out. Who’s next?
Shawn I always called you my brother-in-law from day one. I knew my sister loved you and you were the one. Respect the “Family Man” you are and the way you support them. Keep up the great work brother. Who’s next?
My first semester roommate in college and it was a great experience meeting you. Never been the same after the crew left but we were the only ones that stayed in touch. When you came in town, there was no telling where we were going to end up. Hitting up the town or hitting the road for the night. I always respected your grind and hustle to take care your family. Friends for life!
My ride or die partner. When you joined the car club and we met, we started getting closer. Riding the street and taking out-of-town trips will be memories I’ll never forget. You looked out for me when I needed you, and I will always have your back for keeping it real with me. Friends for life!
My little homie that loves to mess with me and always wanting to wrestle. You get bigger every time I see you. Don’t you and your brother go around breaking these little girls’ hearts. Remember Uncle Drew loves you and thank you for being a part of our day!
I’ll be glad when you stop fearing me. They said you were bad but I always said they were just joking until I seen it for myself. I hope you get into sports because you have the strength and energy needed to succeed. Remember Uncle Drew loves you and thank you for being a part of our day!
My little man that has always shown me love. When you were born, it was hard for me to tell which one you were because you and your brother look so much alike. Love the bond you both have for each other. Don’t be hurting those ladies’ hearts with that smile you have. Remember Uncle Drew loves you and thank you for being a part of our day!
My little nephew, you bring so much happiness and laughter to any moment we share. You have a lot of spunk and a whole lot of jazz. Your expression is one of a kind and you keep me on my toes. When they say kids say the darnedest thing, you are that one! To watch you grow on the path of becoming a smart young man, I can only imagine where your place in this world will be when you reach adulthood. Until then, Justin just continue to be you and thank you again for being a part of our day.
On May 25, 2019, I could never forget this day for many reasons. This day marks my birthday and the day Drew proposed to me. This is also the day we spent the entire day/evening in the emergency room. I recall arriving in town to go to Drew’s family gathering for his niece’s high school graduation in Augusta, G.A. That morning Drew started showing signs of sickness, and he couldn’t shake it all day. I remember we ended up at the emergency room and had to skip traveling to his niece’s graduation. I just thought it would be confirmed as a virus and we would just carry on, but no that visit went from 0-10 real quick. It turns out he had a bad strand of a virus and no one was sure why. Basically, it had to pass through his system. I do recall him wanting to wait it out at home and not be admitted to the hospital that evening. So, we came home. We missed the graduation, and he was dealing with the aftermath of being sick. It was my birthday, and everyone knows I love to celebrate, but that didn’t happen. I was a little disappointed that evening. I knew it wasn’t his fault that he was sick. Well, I recall sitting next to him and all of a sudden he got up and started talking to me. Before I knew it, he brought out the ring box and asked me to marry him, and in the next breath he reached back for his bucket to continue his vomiting. Poor thing was sick and at the same time he wanted to give me my gift/ proposal. The flip side to that day, he did improve two days later, and he were able to make my birthday trip to Vegas as planned.
The day I will never forget is when I asked you to be my wife. It was your birthday and the sickest day of my life. I’m still sorry till this day for having you sit in the hospital with me on your special day. It convinced me even more that you were the one that will stick by my side through sickness and health. Making it home that night and then proposing to you, made me so happy. You saying “yes” and that you liked the ring knowing that I’m not good with picking out gifts. I can’t wait for us to spend the rest of our lives together, happily everlasting!
I can never forget how August 25, 2018 forever changed my life. This is the day I met Andrew aka Drew. I recall this day very well due to my coming to Greenville, S.C. to surprise my sister for her 40th birthday party. This particular day my daughter and I were babysitting my niece and nephew, and their normal routine was to go to the park to play tennis. It’s almost like fate! Anyone who knows me, knows I am not an outdoor person, but I decided to tag along at the last minute to the park with my daughter and the kids. Of course, I sat in the car; and while I was looking around, I noticed Drew from a distance. Trying to be nosey in his conversation with another guy, I overheard them talking about a party that would be happening later on that evening; and they were going to meet up somewhere. So, I nicely intervened into the conversation with an, “Excuse Me.” I think I said this about two times before they turned around; and I said “Hi, I hear you guys talking about a party…” All I noticed was Drew acting a little distant/stuck up, but his friend Stacey interacted and was like the middle man to us talking. I have to say, if it wasn’t for Stacey convincing Drew to walk over to the car to talk to me, I truly believe we would have “dead” the conversation before it even started. So, I recall getting invited to go to the party and had a little assistance with Drew taking my number and calling me later to meet up. It’s funny; as I think about it now, I recall Stacey looking over to Drew saying, “Hey don’t fall in love with her. She’s from Boston; she will not be coming back after this weekend”. Little did we both know, that ONE day changed our lives forever.
Drew may not realize this, but he had my heart at Passport. Anyone who knows me, knows I love to travel the world, and anyone who wants to be with me would have to love to do the same. I did not realize Drew had never flown or traveled outside the U.S., and when I discovered he was willing to take that leap with me, I knew right then and there he had my heart. I feel like we connected the first night, and I just remember him making me laugh; and just something about him made me want to revisit South Carolina more than my normal routine. I believe we both encountered each other and have impacted each other’s lives in ways we never could have imagined. From things we thought we would never do to things we are glad we started to add to our lives. I am forever thankful to that weekend and everyone who played a part in making our encounter happen!
Deborah Cromer-Myers, my Love❤️
First day of meeting the love of my life was unexpected. If she wasn’t being nosey and listening to my conversation I was having about a party, what would my life be like now? After a night of having a good time, we got closer as days passed. It seemed like she was taking trips from Boston every week to see me, so, then I knew I had her. She changed my life for the better and showed me things I had never done which made my heart grow stronger for her. It’s so much to say how I feel about this amazing beautiful lady and how much I love and cherish her, and I plan to do this from now until death do us part!
